According to a new report from Apple, it is rumored that Apple will be in Asia visiting Toyota as it prepares to lay the groundwork for the supplier to mass-produce a branded car in 2024. DigiTimes.

But to do that, the company has to take advantage of a whole new supply chain. Apple is expected to rely on a manufacturing partner to build the vehicles, and while it wants to manufacture EV batteries in the United States, it may be looking for partnerships with established vehicle manufacturers like Toyota.
Reuters has previously reported that Apple is developing a new battery design that can “radically” reduce the cost of batteries and increase the range of the vehicle.
