Amanda Kloots returned to Broadway when the hit musical Waitress reopened and paid tribute to her late husband, Nick Cordero.
Cordero originated the role of Earl when Waitress opened on Broadway in March 2016, with the beloved actor tragically passing COVID-19 in July 2020.
Kloots, 39, was joined by family friend Zach Braff for the first performance since Broadway darkened due to COVID, and even joined the cast on stage after the show.

He also shared a moment with Drew Gehling, who plays Dr. Pomatter in the Broadway musical hit.

Earlier this week, the official Waitress Instagram account revealed that they will be honoring Cordero with a new menu, which will be used on all shows from now on.
“This week we honored the memory of our beloved cast member Nick Cordero,” the post began.

He also joined the cast on stage after the show, where he joked that there may be a “record-breaking tonight for the standing ovations.”
