Before the match began, Balor was brutally attacked by Usos, who beat him with steel steps several times. Balor looked bad, but continued with the game anyway and Roman Reigns made the most of it. Reigns threw him like a rag doll soon and then hit him with a fist and shoulder punch, but Balor retreated and went to fetch Reigns’ legs and then hit a Sling blade, turning the tide .

Reigns turned things around quickly, though he made a top climb and followed up by throwing Balor and following him with a pin, but Balor kicked out. Balor stung again and hit several shoulder attacks. Balor dodged Reigns and kicked him in the leg, but Reigns threw Balor out.

Balor pulled Reigns off the mat and caught him between the apron and used him to hit Reigns with a burst of kicks to the head and back. He then spun over the top rope and slipped into Reigns, then rolled Reigns and went to the top rope. He went for the Cop de Gràcia but failed, and Reigns hit the Superman Punch to look for the pin, but Balor kicked it out.

Reigns got irritated and went to get a spear, but Balor dragged it and almost got the pin, but Reigns kicked it out. Reigns grabbed Balor, but Balor planted Reigns and almost won again, but Regisn kicked out at the last second. Balor felt it and went to get the dropkick. and he succeeded, sending him to the corner. Balor went for the grace kick and hit it, going for the pin, but Reigns kicked it out again at the last second.

Reigns tried to close the guillotine, but Balor grabbed the strings. He could not get there fast enough, but was eliminated for the referee to ring the bell.

When Reigns and Heyman left the ring, the lights turned red so briefly and the sound of a heartbeat was heard. Reigns seemed a little bewildered, as was Heyman, and seemed to indicate the impending return of the demon. We just have to wait and see.
