Alan Wake it will finally hit PlayStation consoles next month in a remastered package if multiple online listings of Taiwanese retailers are crossed. Alan Wake Remastered will be released for both PS5 and PS4 on October 5, 2021 and supremely ZhugeEX has confirmed inside information the release “will be announced next week.”
With the PlayStation Showcase 2021 scheduled to take place on Thursday, this may be one of the show’s announcements. However, we would argue that this remaster seems a bit low for the expected digital event unless it is coupled with a sequel revelation. Alan Wake 2 is reportedly in development, so it’s a possibility. At least, with the revelation expected to occur sometime in the next seven days, we shouldn’t wait to see what happens.
