Drake fed his feud with Kanye West once again when he played an unreleased track on West’s new album Donda, which dissipates rapper Certified Lover Boy.
The 34-year-old star came out on Sirius XM early in the morning on Saturday, Sept. 4 and played Life of the Party with Andre 3000.
Life of the Party takes a look at Degrassi’s star several times, as well as the success of Day ‘n’ Nite Kid Cudi. The two collaborated as a hip-hop duo Kids See Ghosts.

In the song, West, 44, raps: “I put Virgil and Drake in the same lyrics // And it wasn’t the matching dress or Arc’teryx // I just told these big men to stop with the fun s ***. ”
He mentions Drake again at the end of the verse saying he told him to stop playing and that his Forever collaborator “sent this message to everyone.”

He’s not the only one taking shots: Drake seemed to refer to West in the lyrics of his new album
West also put a picture of the Batman villain The Joker in the chat and wrote, “I live for that. My whole life has missed me like a nerdy ass jock n ***** like you. He will never recover. I promise you. ‘
West is also not the only one of the couples taking shots. In Certified Lover Boy, Drake apparently hinted at the identity of his rapper rival: “Give this address to your driver, make it your destination /” Just a message out of desperation / This I get to the deepest state of my meditation / While out there trying to impress the nation / the ordinary mind with speculation.
While the couple was friendly rival friend, several events changed the couple’s dynamic. Drake became romantically involved with former West Amber Rose in 2015 and, although the two announced plans to work together on an album in 2016, he never came to fruition.
West took to Twitter in late 2018 to accuse Drake of “threatening” his family. Last year he demanded “a public apology to J Cole and Drake to begin immediately.”
She’s no longer kind: the couple, who saw her in 2015 with Kenny Burns, used to be a kind rival, but it seems the romantic entanglements led the two into a conflict.

But Drake doesn’t just compete with himself. The 2021 record for most first-day plays was held by Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour, who passed through Donda earlier this week.
Certified Lover Boy featured artists such as Jay-Z, Kid Cudi and Lil Wayne. There were rumors that the artist was coordinating the release of his album with the release of Donda in order to compete with West’s tenth studio album.
