2 injured in possible outbursts of rage in Harris County, northwest, deputies say

HOUSTON – Deputies are investigating a possible outburst of rage on the road where two people were injured in northwest Harris County.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting at two separate locations in W. Little York in Brittmore and W. Little York in Sam Houston Pkwy around 6 p.m.

According to investigators, two vehicles were involved in a rabies incident and one of the drivers shot the other driver several times and injured one passenger.

Witnesses told deputies that the man who was shot fired aggressively at the other driver.

“The woman who was with the individual who was shot, admits that the person she was with was getting out of her vehicle. She admits that she showed a firearm to the other person and claims that she took the gun after the shooting and threw her out the window as they drove to the other location, “Sergeant HCSO noted. Deputies are looking for the missing weapon.

Deputies said the injured driver received several shots, including in the head, and was taken to hospital in critical condition. The injured passenger was shot in the ankle and was expected to be fine, according to deputies.

According to investigators, the driver who opened fire is collaborating with officials. Deputies plan to refer the case to the District Attorney for possible charges, but the sergeant says she does not plan to file any charges.
