The San Francisco 49ers have signed veteran cornerback Josh Norman for FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer with details from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Norman is probably a deep addition behind Jason Verrett and Emmanuel Moseley. The 49ers will have to make a roll play to officially add the veteran corner to the team.

The Carolina Panthers turned Norman (6-0, 200) into a fifth-round pick for the Coastal Carolina national team in 2012.
