Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was reportedly hit by gravel by angry protesters against the vaccine at a campaign stop on Monday.
Although apparently alarmed, the Liberal Party leader was unharmed after receiving pebbles while boarding a bus in London, Ont., CBC reported.
The projectiles came from an angry crowd of protesters against the COVID-19 vaccine and other pandemic restrictions, according to the Washington Post.
Around 100 singing protesters attended the event in a scene that has become commonplace at Trudeau’s campaign stops, The London Free Press reported.
Some of the gravel may also have affected some members of the media who covered the event.

Trudea’s main rival, Conservative leader Erin O’Toole, spoke out against the incident in a statement on Twitter.
“This is disgusting and I condemn these actions in the strongest possible terms,” O’Toole wrote.
“Political violence is never justified and our media must be free from intimidation, harassment and violence,” he said.
