PS Plus Game Hitman 2 can run at 4K 60 FPS with DualSense support on PS5

The free Playstation plus the September 2021 titles can now be downloaded, but did you know there’s a little trick that makes the best training game even better? Let’s talk about Hitman 2, which can use a 4K resolution, run at 60 frames per second and take advantage of the DualSense driver if played through the Hitman 3 launcher on PlayStation 5. IO Interactive is working to make it possible when the third one starts entry earlier this year and you don’t have to spend any extra pennies to get it.

What you want to do is run Hitman 2 on the Hitman 3 engine using the free starter package available in the PS Store. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

1. Replace PS Plus Hitman 2 (UK + EU link / US link) and then download the initial Hitman 3 package (UK + EU link / US link)
2. Claim access to Hitman 3: Hitman 2 Standard (UK + EU link / US link) in PS store
3. Play Hitman 2 in Hitman 3 by launching the PS5 boot package
