Homer Algiers Figueroa Guílamo is the director of strategy and governmental communication, designated by means of decree 543-21.
He has a degree in Social Communication, a graduate of APEC University and a specialist in Communication, with more than 30 years of experience in the area, according to the official web portal of the Directorate of Information, Analysis and Strategic Programming (Diape , suppressed by President Luis Abinader).
He has experience as a consultant and business communication strategist, so he has held various departments of Communication and Public Relations in various companies in the Dominican Republic, Spain, Mexico and the United States.
Figueroa Guílamo held the position of director of the Diape in 2020.
In addition, he has extensive experience in television, radio and print media.
He was executive chairman and director of the MetroRD newspaper and a columnist for Diari Lliure in the “Paper Mirror” section.
