Images from cell phones show the moment a violent fight broke out at Atlanta’s Waffle House after a customer who was being evicted struck a employee.

In the video, a group of several women are seen arguing with a man in an orange shirt sitting at the restaurant counter.

It appears that one of the women is trying to spread the situation and is between another woman and the man, but continues to argue with them.

As things continue to heat up, a Waffle House employee approaches the counter and aggressively grabs the man by the shirt and starts dragging him toward the door.

The client tries to resist, but loses the basics. As he regains his balance at the door, he turns and punches the worker.

That’s when the beating really begins. The worker starts hitting the customer as the two get into a fist fight.

The employee drops the customer to the ground falling on a wet dirt sign before standing up again and continuing to punch.

The video was posted to Twitter via a popular account @ATLUncensored, and has been shared more than 10.6 thousand times and collected 41.6 thousand likes.

The sign said the incident happened at a dam on Buford Road in Atlanta.

There are three Waffle House locations on the Buford Highway and 14 more in the surrounding area. The exact location of the fight has not been confirmed.

Waffle House did not respond to DailyMail.com for comment.

Gwinnett, Norcross and Chamblee County police departments said they were not called into a fight within their jurisdiction this weekend.

But the incident sparked many reactions on Twitter, with many apparently impressed by the employee’s fighting skills.

FOX 11 chief meteorologist Patrick Powell tweeted, “Punching at Waffle House is exactly what it says.”

Twitter user @ Silenius22 tweeted, “What’s your favorite cut of meat?” “The top.” ‘

Twitter user @GrapeSodaPapi tweeted, “I’m convinced Waffle House got some kind of clandestine wrestling club where its employees are forced to participate to keep their jobs.”

@ imshlt1 tweeted: “My point is still valid: Waffle House is the most dangerous place to work.”

While @ohhenryTOTFC jokingly suggested that the employee change careers to tweet: “He needs to be a goalkeeper. Not a Waffle House employee.

But some Twitter users did not side with the employee.

Twitter user @Imyourbighomie tweeted, “The worker did this because people were watching. By no means in hell are you supposed to escort someone like that.

@YoudaBaddess agreed to tweet: “What did you expect when you tried to push someone hard? Luckily, the guy couldn’t fight.

Twitter user @YoungUmmi didn’t stop at the fight asking, “When things like this happen, why don’t you grab the whole plate and leave?”

Another Twitter user, @yourhousenow, noted that none of the people in the video wore masks who tweeted, “All this COVID here and everyone in the face without a mask.”
