SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) – If you’ve ever wondered who Ronald McDonald’s purple teammate really is … you might be surprised by the answer.
“Grimace” is the soft, purple character he labels along with Ronald McDonald.

A McDonald’s manager says Grimace is “a huge palate” and wants to show that the food tastes good.
The news plunged social media into a frenzy on Monday and caused this to be one of the main trends on Twitter overnight.
Some say the character shouldn’t get the name “an expression of disgust” if he wants to show off the good food he has.
