Selena Gomez looks with humor at her makeup malfunction at the Met Gala 2018 during a beauty tutorial
She is well known for discussing her various beauty techniques with her fans.
And on Tuesday, Selena Gomez talked about her famous self-healing setback at the 2018 Met Gala in a makeup tutorial that was shared on Vogue’s official YouTube account.
During the video, the 29-year-old successful producer humorously explained the factors behind her appearance at the event and noted that she took the whole experience calmly.

Gomez began the story by expressing that she and her collaborators were interested in adding a little darkness to her skin, which initially worked well.
“For the Met Gala, I was getting ready and we wanted to add color. So [I] she put on some of that tanning lotion and it looked really nice and very even, ”she said.
The Come & Get It singer noted that as time went on, the cream changed hue incrementally.
“As the evening went on, it got darker and darker and I didn’t notice it,” he stated.

The singer also expressed that, given the high profile of the annual event itself, she had to play the beauty setback.
He recalled, “I’m at the Met Gala: it’s basically one of the most beautiful prestigious events and I’m walking around trying to be beautiful.”
Gomez then commented that he saw a photograph of her that had been taken during the performance and immediately realized that her tanning lotion had been more powerful than she had anticipated.
She said, ‘I look at a picture of me when I sit down and I’m completely orange. He was telling me, “This is going to be terrible because I’m going to eat alive with this.”

The singer noted that she took the situation calmly and talked about a funny clip she shared on her Instagram account after the event.
“I had my security take a video of me, because my first reaction was just to get out of hell,” he said.
He added that in the post, “I literally just bring a ** in my car and then I’ll put it online. I would say, ‘That’s my reaction after seeing my Met Gala photos.’
In the title of the clip, Gomez humorously wrote that running away from the event was the best thing I could do “when I saw my MET photos.”
Hightailing it: The singer also humorously shared a video of herself running away from the Met Gala on her Instagram account after she realized her makeup had become darker.
After initially sharing the video on her Instagram account, a privileged person spoke to People and noted that the singer was making fun of herself for her appearance by posting the clip.
They expressed that “he only applauded the people who commented on his tan and hair and wanted to make a joke about it.”
The source also noted that the successful producer loved her dress for the evening and that she chose the one she wore shortly before the Met Gala took place.
They pointed out that Gomez had two dresses to choose from and on Sunday they decided which one to go with. She loved the dress and was very involved.
