The deputy of the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) for the province of Pedernales, Héctor Darío Félix Féliz, pointed out by Yeni Berenice Reynoso as one of those investigated in Operation Falcon, a drug trafficking network, was born in the municipality of Oviedo on 16 June 1962.

He joined the Dominican Revolutionary Party in 1982, holding important positions from the party base as well as in government until reaching the position of deputy of the Republic that he holds today.

He graduated in 1991 with a degree in Accounting from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD).

According to his profile in the Chamber of Deputies, he was a member of the association of absent Oviedo, association of professionals and technicians of Oviedo.

In 2010 he was nominated for the position of deputy for the province of Pedernales on the ballot of the Dominican Revolutionary Party.

As a legislator he belongs to the Standing Committee on Contracts.

According to Magistrate Yeni Berenice Reynoso, director of the Prosecution of Corruption, on Wednesday morning the legislature transported one of the people who will be extradited to the United States, linked to Operation Falcon, a drug trafficking network and is being investigated to determine his involvement in this case, as “he made the trip with the intention of removing the extraditable from the investigation but the Public Ministry, proceeded to register his vehicle and arrest the people.”

According to Berenice Féliz Féliz was not arrested for his parliamentary immunity. He said his case will be known in the Supreme Court of Justice, for his status as a legislator.
