Matt Damon reveals that he and his wife have a matching tattoo with Heath Ledger, which the late Australian actor designed himself years before his tragic death.
Matt Damon has revealed that he and his wife Luciana Barroso share a matching tattoo with the late Australian actor Heath Ledger.
On Wednesday, the 50 – year – old spoke to GQ about the touching tribute on his arm in honor of his friend, who tragically died in 2008.
Matt explained that the couple had the “weird line” that Heath tattoo artist Scott Campbell printed in 2019, which had been designed by Brokeback Mountain actor years earlier.

“I just wanted to get something Heath had,” Matt said. Scott [the tattoo artist] he showed me his laptop and I said, “Scott, what’s this?”
“Va:” I have no idea; i think these are just some of the things heath screamed at. “I said, ‘This is what I want.’
Matt shares his daughters Isabella, 15, Gia, 12, and Stella, 10, with his wife Luciana. He is also the stepfather of his daughter, Alexia, 22.
The Good Will Hunting star has the names of his wife and four daughters tattooed on the same arm and says Heath’s creative laugh is like “an angel looking at all those names.”

Luciana, on the other hand, has the tattoo on her foot.
Matt, who worked with Heath on The Brothers Grimm in 2005, went on to say that creativity “just came out” of the Australian star when he was alive.
Matt previously told GQ in 2008 that he would constantly tell everyone that he found Heath to be the best actor he had ever seen.
He said Heath was “too bright for this world” and described his death as “a useless king.”

“There were things he did where he couldn’t get there in three lives,” he said. And there were ways he was like a puppy dog. You wanted to protect him.
Heath was 28 when he died of a cardiac arrest caused by an overdose of prescription drugs.
The Oscar winner left behind his two-year-old daughter Matilda at the time, whom he shared with his former partner, actress Michelle Williams.
