PROVINCETOWN (CBS) – A Cape Air flight with seven people on board crashed as it landed in Provincetown on Thursday afternoon. No fatalities were reported.
Cape Air said Flight 2072 traveling from Logan Airport to Provincetown Airport left the runway around 4 p.m.

Six passengers and a crew member were aboard the twin-engine Cessna 402.

Provincetown City Manager Alex Morse said everyone survived the crash and all six passengers and the pilot were taken to hospital.

Provincetown Fire said some patients suffered burns.
There was heavy rain in the area at the time and it is believed that the weather was a factor in the accident.
The FAA and NTSB will investigate.
