Hutchinson has been traveling around Arkansas promoting the coronavirus vaccine, as the delta variant has greatly affected the state whose vaccination rates remain low.
Hutchinson, unlike some other Republican governors, has allowed employers to apply vaccines and mask their mandates if they deem it necessary.
“I have been consistent in the freedom of companies to demand the vaccination of their employees and I have opposed the government saying that companies cannot exercise that freedom,” Hutchinson said.
“The same principle should protect the private sector from the excess of governments forcing them to vaccinate all employees,” he added.
Biden received an immediate reaction after revealing his plan to demand vaccines from private employers multiple Republican governors saying they will take the warrant to the courts.
