Ben Affleck was forced to curb an overly zealous fan who wanted to take selfies with the actor and his superstar girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez.
As he left Venice after the city’s annual film festival, the 49-year-old was wrapped up at the airport physically blocking a maskless fan that came a little too close for comfort while trying to take pictures with the couple. .
Affleck was the first to pull off Lopez’s 52-year-old man when he backed away in the chaos. Soon, his personal bodyguard stepped up, grabbed his wrists from the fan and pulled him away from the celebrity couple.
Once the road was cleared, the couple joined hands again and continued their way through the airport, keeping their heads down to avoid eye contact with other possible nuisances in the area.
It was a travel-filled finale for Bennifer 2.0, as the beautiful couple turned their heads from the moment they landed in the city of canals and took a water taxi to the Venice Film Festival before closing the red carpet Friday night.
Lopez accompanied her husband on a show of support as he promoted his latest film, “The Last Duel,” co-written by Affleck and his friend Matt Damon.
J. Lo was also able to do a quick photo shoot as he walked around the city with an impressive Dolce & Gabbana number.
The festival was the first celebrity event they attended together since their early Aughts romance resurfaced this spring.
That’s not to say the couple has been shunning public view, as they’ve had their PDA part in the camera since their meeting.
