Season 7 of Fortnite Chapter 2 will end with Operation: Sky Fire starting on Sunday, September 12 at 4pm ET. The live events of Epic’s Battle Royale game usually last between 15 and 20 minutes. However, considering this will be one of the biggest live events to date, it may take a little longer.
Regardless of the length of the operation: Sky Fire, season 8 of Fortnite Chapter 2 begins on Monday, September 13th. Previous Fortnite seasons have always started about 12 hours after the live event. This means players can expect season 8 of Chapter 2 to begin around 4 a.m. ET on the morning of September 13th.
What to expect from the Fortnite Chapter 8 Season 8 Battle Pass?
Season 7 of Fortnite Chapter 2 ends on September 12, and the Battle of Season 7 also takes place. This will give way to a new battle pass and players will be able to access various new content, potentially including Naruto’s skin.
It is also rumored that season 8 of Chapter 2 will recover Kevin the cube and new POIs that will replace those destroyed by the operation: Sky Fire. This, however, will only be confirmed when the season and battle pass are released on Sept. 13, at 4 p.m. ET.
