Bayonet 3 has been the headlines once again over the past week and while PlatinumGames has said everything is fine in the end, there is a new development that has some worried fans.
In a Twitter exchange, the character’s voice actor, Hellena Taylor, told one of her “charming” fans that maybe they should get used to the idea of Bayonetta without her “amazing” voice.
When asked what exactly he meant by that, he said he “didn’t have the freedom to say it.” Another fan said they couldn’t wait to see her back, and she responded with the following tweet mentioning how she is “bound by a confidentiality clause.”
Many others seem to think that there is nothing to worry about if they are not able to elaborate (via r / Bayonetta):

Hellena is known to express Bayonetta in the first two games, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and also in the animated film Bayonet: Bloody Fate.
While no one is entirely sure what his tweet means, it wouldn’t be the first time we see a voice actor sharing something like this on social media. We’ve also seen past cases, such as Sonic’s voice actor, who announced his time, as the blue blur had ended up only revealing months later that he would return to the role.
