Raúl Jiménez returned to Wolverhampton after a serious injury, but has not scored in four matches
Wolverhampton’s Mexican striker Raul Jimenez has four games as a starter so far this season 2021-22 and it is the first time since he arrived in England that he has not scored in the period.
The ‘Wolf of Tepeji’ arrived in 2018 at the Wolves and immediately fell with his right foot. Jiménez seized the title in the then team led by Nuno Espirito Santo and in his first four games scored a goal, Same as it was against Everton, which served to end the game 2-2.
At the end of this season, Jiménez played all 39 league games and scored 13 goals, Which put him among one of the best batting revelations in the league.
From now on, their level increased, and for the 2019-2020 campaign he scored two goals in his first two games. Burnley and Everton were his victims. With the utmost confidence and good understanding with his teammates, he scored 17 goals throughout the season with 38 games as a starter.
After the strongest implications of the pandemic, the Premier League began its 2020-21 season and in his first four games he scored two more goals. Sheffield United and the mighty Manchester City were the ones who paid for their goal-scoring sense of smell.
Despite all his regularity and good level, he only played 10 league games, and that’s it a shock to David Luiz in the game against Arsenal in late November left him with a skull injury, The same for which he was operated on in an emergency.
Jiménez regained his health and was approved to play football again with caution, But, after being a starter in every game of this campaign, Raúl still suffers from meeting the goal and, compared to his other seasons in England, is at a disadvantage in terms of the scoring quota.
