Apple (AAPL) is expected to unveil four new iPhones today during a virtual media event held in California: the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The devices are unlikely to have any new features or design changes, or at least compared to last year’s 5G announcement. But there is a long list of possible changes to functions under the hood that could come.

Here’s what to expect:

Screen changes: Apple could finally end the “notch” at the top of the screen, which contains the TrueDepth camera, speakers, microphone and other sensors, to give a less obstructed view of the touch screen. You could also get a screen that is always visible and a barely visible touch ID.

Updated camera system: It is rumored that the iPhone 13 and the cheaper iPhone 13 mini have two rear camera lenses placed diagonally for the first time, potentially to make room for a larger sensor. Meanwhile, the three rear camera lenses of the iPhone 13 Pro models could come in different sizes and sit within a thicker bulge, reportedly, to move forward with stabilization.

Advanced camera features: Apple could offer Portrait mode for videos and astrophotography support to take pictures of the night sky

A mass storage option: In a recent investor note, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said the iPhone 13 could include a 1-terabyte storage option, twice as much as the Pro’s current storage capacity. 512 GB.

Other bells and whistles: Support for satellite technology for sending messages in emergency situations, faster update speeds for better gaming, an improved 5G chip, and a larger battery that promises to last all day
