Rivian is an American electric vehicle manufacturer with the absolute cusp of delivering its first electric passenger vehicle to customers with R1T collection. Rivian has previously entered into agreements with companies such as Amazon to provide commercial vehicles to support deliveries.
With the support of other large U.S. companies like Ford, Rivian has made an investment of nearly $ 10 billion in the last decade.
With the R1T starting to deliver this month, followed by the R1S SUV later this year, Rivian is about to make a leap into the EV market ahead of its recently announced IPO, valued at $ 80 billion .
With the “Launch Edition” versions of its two flagship electric vehicles underway this year and two more versions of each scheduled for next January, Rivian is gaining momentum.
With today’s news shared by the company’s CEO, Rivian is one step closer to getting to American roads with the R1T.
In a tweet today, from Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, the carmaker has held its first R1T collection aimed at a real customer coming out of the production line.
Along with several images that capture the crucial moment of the American carmaker, the CEO of Rivian shared the following message:
After months building pre-production vehicles, this morning our first customer vehicle left our production line in Normal. The collective efforts of our team have made this moment possible. I can’t wait to put them in the hands of our customers!

With the announcement, Rivian customers were lucky enough to get a Launch Edition R1T reservation soon to see the new EV on its way in.
Depending on where the customer lives, vehicles can make a pit stop at one of Rivian’s latest pre-delivery centers for a final inspection.
However, R1T customers should see the first deliveries in the coming weeks with the launch version of the R1S set to follow later this year.
According to Rivian’s website, two additional versions of each EV model (Adventure and Explore packages) are still scheduled to begin deliveries in January 2022.
