Earlier, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard, Stressed that Salazar will be a very close ambassador to Mexico and this is good news for the country.
“He understands very well some of the approaches that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is taking for two reasons; first, because he was represented by the so-called Hispanic struggle in the United States; second, because he comes from below, he is not the son of rich people. it cost him a lot of work, and third, he has a very special sensitivity to our community. That’s why he was elected by President Biden, he’s an ambassador who was close to Mexico. ”

The chancellor recalled that Salazar made a program in the United States similar to sowing Life.
“In the case of the United States it was 100,000 (young people) because he organized it to pay unemployed young people, young people of color, children of marginalized Mexicans there and invited these young people to work in favor of the conservation of the cultural reserves of the United States and they began to plant trees, to supervise that they were made “.
Ebrard stressed that there is a great affinity between what he did and what President López Obrador is now proposing to control the migratory flow in Central America.
– “Will it be done, will it be achieved, chancellor?”, They asked him.
“I think from what I heard and what we hear on Thursday, because he was in Washington on Thursday and he spoke out in favor of those ideas. That’s what we Democrats have always done, why don’t we do it in Central America already? “Mexico, can we help him? Then I see a possibility that matters, a promoter of this cause in Washington that we didn’t have. It’s good news for Mexico.”
Chancellor Ebrard added that President López Obrador received credentials from 23 other diplomatic representatives from various countries.
