Snail Mail has announced their new album Valentine’s day with a video for the title track. The follow-up to 2018 Lush will have to leave on November 5 via Matador. Watch the “Valentine” video on YouTube.
Lindsey Jordan wrote Valentine’s day in 2019 and 2020 and recorded it with the help of producer Brad Cook. “I wanted to dedicate as much time as possible to this record to make sure I was happy with all the details before letting them all go,” he said in a statement. “To refer to the process as the deepest level of catharsis and therapy I have ever experienced would be a huge understatement. Valentine’s day he is my son! ”
After postponing a 2020 tour, Snail Mail returns to the road in the United States in November before heading out to Europe in 2022. Check out the full list of dates below.
