(CNN Business) – Conservative radio announcer Pastor Robert “Bob” Enyart, who gave up vaccines against covid-19, died of complications from the virus, his co-host announced on social media Monday.
“It pains me so much that my close friend and co-host of Real Science Radio has lost his battle with the covid,” co-host Fred Williams said on Facebook.
In October, Enyart won a lawsuit against the state of Colorado for its covid-19 restrictions, CNN reported.
In a phone call with CNN after the sentencing, Enyart said, “We have the right, even the obligation, to worship- (God), and that without government interference.”
“Bob Enyart was one of the smartest and without a doubt the wisest person I’ve ever met,” Williams said.

An August 1921 2021 update on the radio show’s website said Enyart and his wife Cheryl “have sworn not to use the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson vaccines.”
Enyart is one of several conservative radio presenters who recently died from complications of covid-19 after complaining about masks and expressing skepticism about vaccines.
Dick Farrel, a Florida-based radio announcer, died of coronavirus in August, as did Nashville presenter Phil Valentine, who was 65 when he died.
Marc Bernier, another Florida-based conservative radio announcer and outspoken opponent of masks and vaccines, also died of covid-19 last month.
CNN contacted Enyart’s family and received no response.
