Jake Paul learned of Dana White’s press conference on Tuesday and sent a reply to the UFC president.
Paul, a YouTube player turned boxer, was once again the target of White’s verbal contempt after Dana White’s Contender Series event.
White said he doesn’t think Paul will continue a boxing match with former UFC champion Anderson Silva, who has achieved a couple of much-publicized boxing victories over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Tito Ortiz since he split from the promotion.
“I’m guaranteed this: you won’t see Jake Paul call Anderson Silva. I promise you,” White said. “(Silva is) his size and he’s really good. He’s old, that’s what he likes. “Jake Paul fights old people. He likes to fight old boys who are too young and are absolutely positively washed.”
The push for Paul against Silva came alongside White, essentially putting the kibosh in any chance Jorge Masvidal would borrow from his UFC contract for a boxing match. Paul has been in contention with “Gamebred” in the media, dating back to the days leading up to his August win over Tyron Woodley, and they both said they would like the grudge match to pass.
It seems that Paul is still fixated on Masvidal and, after White’s comments, issued a counter-offer to make the fight fruitful (via Twitter):

“Anderson is out … JAKE JAKE JAKE ..”
I want your star talent. Your strikers “to the fullest” so you can exploit their lack of boxing ability.
Well we do this Me against Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Serrano against Amanda Nunes …
If we win, let any of your fighters fight me in advance. If we lose, I leave it to you and your exploitative business.
DANA … DANA …. DANA?
White seemed to have no interest in allowing Masvidal to fight Paul when he briefly touched on the subject. It should probably be a joint promotion with Showtime, which White has talked about negatively since he did business with her for the Floyd Mayweather boxing match against Conor McGregor.
