In today’s media news, journalists and Democrats argue that General Milley would contact China’s top general to worry about Trump, MSNBC’s Joy Reid addresses Nicki Minaj who Twitter spat on the vaccines and Jimmy Kimmel was making fun of Floridians who died of coronavirus.
The four Liberal co-hosts of ABC’s “The View” clashed Wednesday after two of them agreed to alleged phone calls between the chairman of the joint chief of staff, General Mark Milley, and his Chinese counterpart. they equated to “betrayal.”
The revelations about the phone calls, allegedly made during the last months of former President Donald Trump’s administration, came as part of a new book by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa of The Washington Post.
According to the book, Milley made the two calls, unknowingly to Trump, to General Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army to assure him that the US was not planning an attack on China and that in case it was thus, I would warn you in advance.
MILLEY’S TRUMP DOUBTS REPORT PLOTING TO CHINESE GENERALS, SAYING IT’S “TRASON” IF TRUE
The split occurred when co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines criticized Milley for making the calls if she had, while Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar said they would have been justified.
“I think the command is broken that way. He’s betraying. He’s out of the chain of command,” Hostin said after Goldberg asked him for his views on the alleged calls. “I worked in government for many years and it’s sacrosanct to go within the chain of command.”
Hostin said she knew Milley’s alleged actions were being taken to protect the U.S. from any war that broke out and that she said Trump was capable of starting a nuclear war after losing the 2020 election.
“But I think there is no excuse for a silent coup, which I think is what that is,” he added.
PUNDNDITS CONTINUE TO ALLOW MILLEY’S QUESTIONED PHONES IN CHINA AS “COMMON SENSE”
Behar jumped in, disagreed with Hostin and blamed Trump exclusively for the alleged calls.
“The whole time Trump was president, I was at home saying, please God there was an adult controlling this lunatic. I was praying for someone in the room to hold his arm when he goes to that button “. dit. “And God bless General Milley for correcting things. I know the chain of command is sacrosanct. I understand that. But that was an emergency. We had a certifiable booth in the White House.”
Haines responded immediately to Behar, saying that he agreed with Hostin, but that he also agreed that Milley told his subordinates to come to him first if there was any command that dealt with nuclear weapons, qualifying- the “safety net”.
“But going to China is a problem for me … We don’t need to go to people who are our opponents,” Haines added.
Behar tried to downplay Milley’s words, seemingly making them sound like a harmless head to her Chinese counterpart, as she came and went with Haines to disagree on the call.
“But he also said (this is the worst), he promised to alert him in the event of an attack. You can’t tell China we’re going to pick you up,” Haines said, interrupting Behar. “We’re united in that, and even if Trump is in the lead, you get inside. You get into our country.”

Behar tried to say that Trump should have been removed from his cabinet through the 25th Amendment, but was interrupted by Haines becoming the devil’s advocate again and suggesting that Biden could be handled in the same way by people who believe he is being affected by senility, which makes him unable to make the right decisions.
