The Docket app provides a secure digital option so Minnesota people can see and track the vaccines they have received or need in the future.

Minnesota residents can now easily access their immunization record using their smartphones or other mobile devices through an app called Docket. Docket allows residents with a Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) record to securely view and share their immunization records.

MIIC, Minnesota’s immunization information system, combines all the vaccines a person has received into a single record, even if they have been given by different health care providers in Minnesota. As of today, anyone with an MIIC registry can use the Docket app to access their registry, including the COVID-19 vaccine. The app provides a PDF document of the vaccination record that can be saved to your mobile device, printed, emailed or texted if needed.

“We recognize the importance of having a safe and comfortable way to find, view, and share your family’s and your family’s immunization records, such as the need for records for school or child care,” he said. dir Kris, director of the Infectious Diseases Division of the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Ehresmann. “The Docket app gives Minnesotaers a digital option to access their immunization history at MIIC, check what vaccines you or your children may be due to, and see what vaccines you need in the future. That’s vital to make sure that people are protected from preventable diseases “.

Docket helps meet consumer demand for more affordable vaccination records. Minnesota is experiencing a drastically increased demand from people to facilitate access to their own vaccination information. To date, in 2021, MDH has received more than 33,000 applications for vaccination records through our online form; more than 19,000 of these requests arrived as of July 1st. To compare them, MDH received approximately 12,000 applications in 2020 and 13,000 applications in 2019.

“The volume of recent requests means that it takes weeks, not days, for people to retrieve their vaccination record, but Docket offers an option for people to access their vaccination information more directly and quickly.” said Ehresmann.

Anyone who wants or needs access to their immunization record and does not have a smartphone or does not want to use the app can still apply for the immunization record from MDH or their healthcare provider. For more information, visit Find My Immunization Record.

Docket is free and available for download from Apple and Android app stores.
