Dilys Ng, photo editor of Time 100, He said the cover photo “captures their powerful dynamic as an egalitarian couple.”
The editor-in-chief and general manager of Time, Edward Felsenthal, wrote in his letter to readers that Harry and Meghan have “catalyzed essential conversations on topics ranging from mental health to misinformation.”

Harry had initially kept Diana’s diamond and sapphire engagement ring, but William asked to exchange the relics so he could propose marriage to Kate Middleton with his mother’s ring in 2009.
The gold Cartier watch later passed to Meghan when she married Harry.
Meghan’s hair was combed by Serge Normant, who also combed her hair on the day of her wedding to Harry in May 2018.
This time, Normant created loose waves with a lot of volume in the duchess. Harry is beside her, but behind her, with one hand resting on his shoulder.
Stylist James Johnson told FEMAIL that Meghan’s hair “highlights her authority,” while her strong pose “gives viewers an idea of her powerful new status.”
“It makes me vibrate with Beyoncé showing us the power of girls: backed by her husband, her prince leaning on her showing female empowerment, she wears pants with her big hair,” she said.
A second photograph of the couple, taken at home in California, shows them wearing matching colors.
Standing in a doorway, Harry wears an olive green dress, while Meghan wears a matching olive green turtleneck sweater and marengo gray pants. The Duchess chooses to collect her hair in a bun with loose flakes that frame her face in the second image.
The images coincide with Harry’s 37th birthday on Wednesday.
