The Duchess of Cambridge met with British soldiers who had helped evacuate civilians from Kabul, Afghanistan. More than 15,000 people left Kabul for the Royal Air Force.

“It was great to meet the Duchess and to be so interested and committed to our stories,” Loadmaster Sergeant Mark Curtis told People magazine about the incident. “We are serving our queen, our country, the royal family. And obviously the level of the ‘boss’ coming up and hitting you on the back for the hard work was amazing.”

The UK judiciary confirmed to Fox News that it had accepted a request from Virginia’s lawyers Roberts Giuffre to file a lawsuit against Prince Andrew. Giuffre has accused Andrew of sexually assaulting her when she was 17, allegations he has denied.

“The judicial process has not yet been completed, but the High Court will take steps to serve under the Convention unless the service is arranged by agreement between the parties,” the British judiciary told Fox News in a statement. .
