The Shang-Chi star reveals the origin of the first fist in a deleted scene

The evil villain known as Razor Fist debuted live earlier this month, with the arrival of Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings. While Wenwu was the main villain in the new film, Razor Fist acted as his right-hand man and had some solid fight scenes. There may not have been as much of Florian Munteanu’s bad as some comic book fans had expected, but at the end of the film it was mocked that there would be more ready for Razor Fist as he lined up with Xialing.

We’ll see more Razor Fist stuff in the future Shang-Chi sequel, but some new images of the character may arrive even sooner. As he spoke ComicBookMovie.com about the latest Marvel movie, Munteanu said there was some story about his character on the cutting room floor. They filmed an extensive scene with him at the end, and an origin that explained his relationship with Wenwu, and Munteanu is confident that both will eliminate scenes that will accompany the Shang-Chi release at home.

“We had this great final battle, and you [originally] I would have seen a little more of Razor Fist, “Munteanu explained.” I wish people would see it because there was a reason he replaced his blade with the dragon sword and fight with two swords, but I don’t want to spoil too much and I don’t want to give away too much. “

“It simply came to our notice then [him] stepfather because, at the end of the day, Wenwu gave him a new life and a purpose and a home, “the actor continued.” He trained him and took him off the streets. You will also see this in the extra material. [Xialing’s] her daughter, therefore, makes more sense than following a new leader, but we will have to see what happens. “

The end of the Shang-Chi the credits confirmed that the Ten Rings would return to the Marvel movie universe, meaning both Xialing and Razor Fist will return. What he doesn’t say, though, is when they’ll make their next appearance. While they’ll probably have roles in the eventual sequel, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see them elsewhere in the franchise even earlier.
