The judge of Criminal Guarantees, Reinaldo Cevallos, accepted the 94 elements of conviction presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and issued an act of summons for the seven prosecuted for the fact. He also ratified the pretrial detention that weighs on them.

The seven people prosecuted have played different roles in committing the crime of the presenter, raised on January 27 this year on Avenida Guillem Cubillo, north of Guayaquil.

Defense attorneys reject the prosecution’s allegations and argue legal situations regarding their case theory and request a waiver, with the exception of Álvaro C., alias Alvarito, For his possible participation in the murder of Ruales.

Lawyer Pere Trist, who defends Jamilet, the only woman involved in the crime, argued that his client has been charged in general and no real contribution has been made from her for the outcome. .
