This morning the preparatory hearing for the trial around the murder of presenter Efraïm Ruales was reinstated. This diligence took place throughout the day in the North Criminal Judicial Unit 2, located in the Albán Borja shopping center, north of Guayaquil.
The judge of Criminal Guarantees, Reinaldo Cevallos, accepted the 94 elements of conviction presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and issued an act of summons for the seven prosecuted for the fact. He also ratified the pretrial detention that weighs on them.
Cevallos also called for a new investigation to begin to find the intellectual perpetrators of the communicator’s crime. The Public Prosecutor’s Office argued that it was already investigating the fact, a court case used in the Persons and Guarantees Unit number 8.

Lawyer Pere Trist, who defends Jamilet, the only woman involved in the crime, argued that his client has been charged in general and no real contribution has been made from her for the outcome. .
