Rapper Nicki Minaj returned to the White House on Wednesday after the Biden administration issued a statement clarifying that it had offered him a phone call to discuss the hesitation of the coronavirus vaccine, not a face-to-face visit.
“Do you think you’d go online and lie about being invited to the famous White House? Like what? See what you see what’s going on right now?” Minaj said in a 14-minute post on Instagram.

He stated that his manager and publicist were on a call with the White House, where administration officials said, “We would like to offer Nicki an invitation to come to the White House to speak with the general surgeon.” Dr. Vivek Murthy and Dr. Anthony Fauci.
He said he told White House officials he would rather not travel and suggested some sort of “live” public or private video on social media.
The White House was open to doing a “live” session, he said, but never made a trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. from the table.
Earlier Wednesday, a White House official said the rapper had only been offered a phone call to talk to experts to talk about vaccine safety.

“As we did with other people, we offered a call with Nicki Minaj and one of our doctors to answer their questions about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine,” the official said, according to NBC News.
Minaj had tweeted, “The White House has invited me and I think it’s a step in the right direction. Yes, I’m leaving. I’ll be dressed in all pink as legally blonde so they know I’m referring to business. questions on behalf of people who have been mocked for simply being human. ”
Later, in her Instagram video, she said the White House called back after posting the tweet about the invitation and that she was “not too happy” to talk about it publicly.
Minaj also tweeted Monday that he had skipped the Met Gala, which requires a vaccine, saying he wanted to research more before getting it. She also cited her new baby for not wanting to travel and encouraged people to wear masks.
The commotion began earlier this week when Minaj claimed Monday in a viral tweet that a friend of her cousin in Trinidad became helpless after receiving the vaccine.
On Tuesday, Fauci unequivocally dismissed the claim.
