A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the savage Tuesday attack of a BMW driver whose sleek car was vandalized by a bicycle lane in broad daylight in Manhattan, it has reported the Post.
The Queens teenager, who is not identified because he is a minor, is being charged with a minor after allegedly attacking victim Max Torgovnick’s luxury trip to Fifth Avenue, sources in the U.S. forces said Wednesday. ‘order.
Sources reported that about 25 motorcyclists were involved, six of whom damaged Torgovnick’s car. Police have also identified another teenager and are looking for him, sources added.
Torgovnick told the Post on Wednesday that he and his mother, who is about 70, had just left a donation to a nonprofit and were heading to his father’s neurology office when they came across about fifty teenage cyclists Tuesday afternoon.
The video of the gruesome attack shows cyclists surrounding the BMW on Fifth Avenue and 21st Street, with some hitting the vehicle with their fists and feet, and another smashing a bicycle in the front window of Torgovnick.
One of the attackers ran against the car and jumped over the hood, causing the windshield to crack and partially sink, according to the video.
“At the time, I was afraid they were going to break the window, get in the car, get in and get us out,” Torgovnick recalled.
His mother frantically dialed 911 as he shouted, “We will die, we will be killed,” Torgovnick said.
