A drone sneaks into the Tesla factory in Fremont and chases three cars that Tesla does not want to let us see – News – Hybrids and Electric

If everything about a novelty at Tesla becomes the focus of all eyes no matter how unimportant it may be, let a larger matter such as the flagship of its range of electric cars, the Tesla Model S, be about to receive a renewal, it was not going to be any less. Now because of the intrusion of a remotely piloted drone at the Tesla factory in Fremont we were able to see three cars potentially hiding under their camouflage some new models that Tesla doesn’t want to let us see.

It was in the same vicinity of the Tesla factory in Palo Alto where we could also see a unit of the Tesla Model S wearing some changes that, although in principle did not attract attention, they do indicate that it was a new version of the Tesla Model S, either a restyling or the long-awaited Model S Plaid, as it wore much more accentuated wheel arches than usual.

Now all the focus is on these three units that, camouflaged, have been hunted down and transported inside the facilities of the Tesla factory located in Fremont. These are three units that sport a pronounced size body, So in the first instance it is ruled out that it is about the smallest models in the house, the Model 3 and Model I.

With an update to the Tesla Model S getting closer and closer, it is likely that some of these units will wear under the camouflage the renewal of the electric sedan American, either in the form of restyling or new generation. In addition, the elongated and inclined proportions that appear to be the front and rear moons of the covered units, suggest that it is more of a car than an SUV. There are many voices that point out that it could also be a smaller draft of the Tesla Model X, but given the younger age of the electric SUV, it seems more likely the first possibility.

Probably, and as usual in Tesla’s way of proceeding, the American firm will not make prior or official announcement of the arrival of this possible new variant of the Model S and offer it directly on its website.

The video goes beyond stopping at the three units hidden under the typical transport attire by these units, and travels from side to side the Tesla factory in Fremont with total calm for the ten minutes that lasts the same, even stopping at the gaze of factory workers. He even pauses his journey to show from the air the manufacturing process of what looks like the subframe behind one of his models.
