It’s my hometown FFXIV … in anime form
Square Enix can’t help but adapt Final Fantasy anime games. In fact, it ‘s amazing that there are additional things to discover (especially with the FFXV short, which were possibly more consistent than several arcs in the game), but this time it’s a little more fleeting.
Shared via file Final Fantasy XIV Korea’s YouTube channel, the video begins with a player character waking up in Limsa Lominsa, a radiant coastal city (also my hometown) and one of the main centers of A reborn kingdom. Everything is incredibly authentic, down to the Etherit, the character styles and the random performance of Bard on the streets. As a reminder, FFXIV has had anime ads before, dating back to 2019.
As for this recent one below, there are a lot of fantastic shots here, most of which can be replicated in the actual game, from drafting to random training in nature with the your chocobo companion. I can’t wait to see how good it will look (and feel, depending on how often) on PS5.
