MIRAMAR, Fla. – Several wrecked cars were in the front of a Miramar house after the driver of a Tesla cared for cars, several trees and a house on Saturday morning.
Police said it happened around 4 a.m. on Miramar Parkway, near southwest of 65th Avenue.
Home surveillance cameras captured the moment Tesla began the destructive path.
Neighbors said a person was inside the car and was unconscious after the crash.
That driver was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital by first responders.

They also observed that the Broward sheriff’s office was closely following the car and said a sheriff’s deputy showed up at the scene almost immediately after the crash. The deputy told residents the car must have gone over 100 mph to cause damage, but investigators will determine exactly what happened.
The impact of the car was also so hard that he lifted a van parked in front of the house and crashed a Mazda also parked.
Announcements
Neighbors who saw the car pass through the ringed camera described it as a “flash of light.”
People living inside the house that was run over told Local 10 News that they are not allowed to re-enter due to possible structural damage. Officials will determine if and when the house is safe.
