It currently seems only for PlayStation users
It’s been over six months right now, but we’re all just one day away from seeing what the future holds for Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition.
To help celebrate the Winter Update and the end of the competitive season, Capcom has released a new free trial version of Champion Edition that includes all 40 playable characters. What may be more interesting than playing Gill or Seth right now for most is that it’s time for judgment and specifically when it’s over.
As of now, the current demo is only available to PlayStation 4 (or PlayStation 5) users, so PC gamers may be feeling down, unfortunately, according to 4Gamer.
Although we now only know the end time of Japan, it looks like it will be available from 11pm on February 24th, which could point to when we could also see the launch of the final season.

It would make sense that Capcom wouldn’t want to spend some extra resources to upgrade to a free version of SF5 that would be released in a few days, so the season 5 version won’t arrive until February 25, if the Caixa.
On the other hand, the editor could also be more open and allow free players to enjoy a few days of the upgrade to try and get them to buy the full version later.
In previous years, Capcom generally launched the new season just after the Capcom Cup ended in December, although its cancellation and tomorrow’s Winter Update throw almost the entire game book out the window.

The Capcom Pro Tour 2020 season finale will take place from February 20-21, with two days of online matches scheduled, and given that the Capcom Cup is supposed to take place at the same time, there are also many possibilities. of being able to see it. that Sunday.
The winter update of Street Fighter 5 will be the place to finally see all that Dan has to offer as the first SLC DLC character, although it is also confirmed that Rose will make her appearance.
This will also serve as one of the first occasions that SF5 developers will sit down to discuss the balance changes that will come to SF5, as well as the new battle mechanics that will come to the game.
Hopefully, Capcom will provide a release date tomorrow during the broadcast, but they could also tell us that we’re tuning in to the CPT finals to see when we can play new SF5 content after a year with no substantial updates.
