A dead man and a woman wounded by a bullet, who also died while receiving medical care at the Medical Center, was the balance of a shooting that was recorded yesterday, Thursday, at 11:00 pm, on the street Brazil intersects with Avenida Rexach, in front of the Sant Jaume Iglesias school, in Santurce.
According to preliminary information, the authorities were alerted to gunfire on the spot, through a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System, and on arrival was found inside a Nissan Pathfinder, gray color, the corpse of a man with multiple bullet wounds in different parts of his body.
The victim was identified as Juan C. Montañez Alamo, 37, a neighbor of Carolina.
At the scene he also found a woman wounded by a bullet, who was transported to the Pedres River Medical Center, in a delicate condition where she later died due to injuries. She was identified as Jarry Lee Laureano Rosario, 26, a neighbor of Toa Alta.
Agents, attached to the Precinct of Barrio Obrer, preliminarily attended to the complaint and guarded the scene referring the case to personnel of the Homicide Division of the CIC of Sant Joan, who together with the prosecutor on duty , took charge of the investigation.
