A man with a chainsaw threatens other people at the Raleigh Hotel :: WRAL.com

– Police are looking for a man accused of terrorizing other people with a chainsaw at a Raleigh hotel on Saturday night.

Raleigh police surrounded the Red Roof Inn on South Saunders Street after answering a disturbing call around 9:15 p.m.

The man threatened several people, but no one was injured. Police said the man used a chainsaw to threaten the victims. The man in question left the hotel with what appeared to be a dark-colored sedan.

Security images captured the man wearing a dark green baseball cap, a long white coat, dark jeans and white shoes.

The motive surrounding man’s actions is unknown. The suspect is wanted for attempted kidnapping, aggravated assault and property damage.
