A new defamation of Israel by Human Rights Watch

Israel has led the world in rapidly vaccinating much of its population, so naturally the world left must find itself guilty: hence the urge to condemn Jerusalem for not taking responsibility for vaccinations in Gaza and the West Bank.

In a series of tweets, Human Rights Watch chief executive Kenneth Roth accused Israel of racism for this alleged failure; a week later, Palestinian officials decided to join the blame game, announcing that Israel is responsible for vaccinating Palestinians despite previous statements to the contrary.

Actually, how Notes by Hillel Neuer of UN Watch, the 1995 Oslo II Agreement designates the responsibility for health care and vaccinations of its people in the Palestinian Authority.

And while the two countries are supposed to cooperate on handling epidemics, Palestinian Ministry of Health officials admitted in December that they did not ask for help to get vaccines from Israel.

Top Palestinian officials routinely go to Israel for major medical care, but PA propaganda advises against it for everyone, with gloomy indications that Jewish doctors will offer Arabs only quality care if they are not secretly experimenting with patients. Palestinians.

The AP reduced its own agreements to acquire vaccines against Russian AstraZeneca and Sputnik V, although the first ones only started arriving this month. Nor has he made any official (shameful) request for Jerusalem to help. (World Health Organization officials cite only “informal discussions” where they made any such request).

Note that Israel vaccinates its Arab citizens. In fact, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has even visited Arab areas to encourage him to get the vax. Many Israeli Arabs in East Jerusalem have done so.

And Jerusalem is also hitting Palestinian terrorists imprisoned as a matter of priority in front of many of its own citizens, even as PA propaganda suggests the program is really about conducting medical experiments. But the enemy for NGOs and the United Nations is, as always, Israel, whatever the facts.
