The ten-year-old boy found in his family’s Harlem family apartment was a “little angel” who never “peeped,” neighbors told The Post on Sunday.

A relative of the victim told The Post at a vigil outside his building on Sunday afternoon that the boy was “super smart, super smart” and a “happy” boy who loved video games.
The family member, who only identified herself as Jennifer A., 42, said she was a cousin of the boy’s 30-year-old mother and “that boy was all for [his mother].
“I have never seen any bruises or scratches. It really hurts my heart, ”Jennifer said.
Neighbors in the building said the boy was behaving well.
“Not a peep,” a neighbor said when asked about the tragic young victim. “The boy never makes noise. All you say is “stop” and it freezes like a statue. An angel.
“It makes my stomach spin,” said the woman, who asked not to be identified.
“They belong in hell,” he added of who hurt the boy.
Another neighbor, Destiny Rogers, told The Post on Sunday, “Yesterday around noon, I was going out with my nephew and I heard a man, he had his voice raised, he was calling someone,” referring to the noise of the dead. new apartment.
“I could hear [the male voice] say, “Down!” and “Quiet!” I thought I was arguing with a couple.
“I grew up listening to things like that,” Rogers said. “I never thought …
“I wish I had stayed longer in the hallway,” he added. “It simply came to my notice then. He would have knocked on the door.
“It hurts,” Rogers said of the tragedy. “I do not know what to say. I can’t believe what happened to that guy. Last night I had 2 and a half hours of sleep. “
Neighbor Judynell Groce, a retired teacher, added: “He was a kind of introverted child. When his mother spoke to him, he was almost scared.
“When his mother spoke to him, he would shut up and shut up. It would be a bit noisy and use a bit of desecration with it. I have never seen a man or a father with them. They have been here for almost three and a half years, ”said Groce.
“As a teacher at the city school for more than 30 years, I have met some abused children. I listen to hear what is being said. No judgment. With today’s world, I’m not surprised by that. “
