Maybe there was a full moon.
A Pakistani man has been arrested for passing through the streets of Peshawar with a wolf mask to scare people on New Year’s Eve, the Indian Express reported.
Asad Khan, a resident of the city’s Moti neighborhood, was reportedly caught roaring while riding his motorcycle, according to the media quoted by Saama TV.
The furry suspect had a bone to pick with the police, saying he was not trying to scare anyone, but was only obeying the government’s mandate to wear a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Social media users howled the images of the man below, who is seen with his bicycle and who, still with the grotesque mask, chained to a police officer.
“Perhaps I did not want to risk this epidemic. This mask is an infallible weapon to fight Covid-19 “. said a user on Twitter.
Another wrote: “People are afraid of the boy and do not go out in the new year during the times of Covid, everyone stays safe. Isn’t that good? ”
And a third he said in a tweet that the man “was reported to police by a girl wearing a red hoodie.”
It was not immediately known if the suspect has been charged.
