The plane that crashed last Monday morning with drugs in Pedernales had no flight plan to the Dominican Republic, according to the president of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), José Mart Piantini.
The aircraft crashed and caught fire near the coasts of the municipality of Oviedo, in the referred province and the Polito died.
Mart Piantini said the case is being investigated by the Ministry of Defense and the National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD).
“This was not registered. This was a plane that was illegally making this flight to the Dominican Republic,” he said.
He said that it is necessary to wait for the DNCD and the state security forces to be established through the investigations that happened with this aircraft.
In connection with the fact, the judges of the Court of Permanent Instruction of Pedernales interrogated two Dominicans and a Brazilian who were arrested, after the plane in which they were moving crashed, and in which they found cocaine.
The president of the JAC offered his statements at the International Airport of the Americas, José Francisco Peña Gómez, where together with other officials in the sector left in operation a module of the body where passengers can obtain information and make their complaints about their flights.
According to the details of the case, inside the plane were two people, one of them was captured by the Dominican authorities, while the other passenger died after the accident.
Those captured were Víctor Vinicio Desirva, Carlos Ernesto Cuevas Pérez, known as Kuki Malote; and hedgehog Terrer Medina.
