A Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who has appeared on “The Doctors” program died of COVID-19 after contracting the disease when a woman without a mask coughed while giving her a lip injection, according to a report.
Dr. Payman Simoni, 50, wore a mask last month while performing the elective procedure on the woman, who had filled out a COVID questionnaire and checked her temperature, though she did not test for the virus, she reported. TMZ.
A few days later he contacted the doctor’s office to report that he later tested positive for the fatal error, according to the medium.
Simoni, who went into quarantine, was later admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was placed on a ventilator after experiencing several symptoms, including shortness of breath, according to TMZ.
Sources reported at the exit that Simoni was finally put in a medical coma before dying of a cerebral hemorrhage on Friday.
“The shock is that he was so perfectly healthy,” a family friend, Katy Amiri-Younesi, told KCAL. “He is a doctor, I called him when I had COVID. He was giving me instructions on what to do. ”
And he added: “He was a doctor. And he took all the protocols. “
Simoni recently appeared in an upcoming episode of “Dress and Go Out in Beverly Hills,” during which she performed the same procedure on Patrik Simpson, TMZ reported.
The patient told the prey that he had been instructed to take a COVID test and that he had been negative in advance.
