A rock that looks like Cookie Monster could be worth more than $ 10,000

It’s worth a lot of cookies.

A rock recently discovered in Brazil could fetch more than $ 10,000, because it bears a strange resemblance to the cookie monster “Sesame Street,” according to reports.

Departing, the volcanic rock is made up of hollow blue quartz crystals that reflect the round white eyes and open smile of the iconic cookie-loving character.

Geologist Mike Bowers, who currently owns the unusual agate gemstone, told The Sun that he had seen other similar rocks, but that “this is probably the most perfect cookie monster there is.”

“It’s rare to find one as well defined as this,” he said.

Bowers posted pictures of the rock on his Facebook account this month, saying he has since been offered $ 10,000 for five different shoppers.

“Prices can be very high,” he said on the website.

Agate, a type of quartz found in ancient lava cavities, was recovered from the Rio Grande do Sul region in Brazil, Bowers said.
