A teenage girl dies in an accident with two jet skis on Table Rock Lake

STONE COUNTY, Mo (KY3) – A teenager died Saturday afternoon in an accident with two jet skis on Table Rock Lake, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The victim has not been identified, but his closest relatives have been notified. MSHP says a 14-year-old girl from Saint Louis died in the crash.

MSHP responded to the crash around 4 p.m. near the Little Indian Point 5 mark on Table Rock Lake.

Investigators say a 15-year-old boy riding a jet ski hit a second jet ski in the water, prompting the expulsion of the second driver. According to MSHP, this driver was sent to a hospital for treatment, but was later pronounced dead.

MSHP Troop D, which covers most of southwest Missouri, has investigated seven navigation-related fatalities in 2021.
