A woman fleeing Afghanistan to the UK gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday during a Turkish Airlines flight, according to reports.
Soman Noori, 26, began to have contractions as the plane was halfway between Dubai and Birmingham.

With no doctors on board, Turkish Airlines staff helped the mother during the birth, which took place in Kuwaiti airspace, Reuters reported. The video shows the crew posing with the little baby, who was wearing a pink hat and was wrapped in a blanket.
She was the third child of Noori and her husband Taj Moh Hammat, who christened her baby Havva, which translates to Eve, Evening Standard reports.
According to Reuters, the plane was carrying Afghans working with the UK.
