Aaron Rodgers calls fatherhood “the next big challenge”

Aaron Rodgers is ready to be a father.

The 37-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback sprouted on Shailene Woodley’s promise and opened up about the future with his future girlfriend.

“I’m engaged recently, so I’ve enjoyed this part of my life,” Rodgers said during an Instagram Live conversation with Zenith Watches CEO Julien Tornare this week.

“Obviously, that’s the best thing that happened to me over the last year.”

Woodley, 29, confirmed that she and Rodgers were engaged in late February, but revealed that they would have been engaged long before. They seem to be already thinking ahead, as Rodgers also cared about fatherhood.

The “next big challenge will be being a father,” adding that many of his friends have families of their own.

“I’ll hope to take care of another life at some point,” Rodgers said. “I think it will be a lot of fun. I dreamed of what it will be, I am very excited about this chapter whenever it comes. “

However, Rodgers said fatherhood “may not be in the immediate future.”

The NFL star first announced that he was engaged while accepting the NFL 2020 MVP award, but did not name his mysterious wife.

“It’s an honor to win this award for the third time,” Rodgers said Feb. 6. “2020 was definitely a crazy year, full of changes, growth, some amazing and memorable moments, 180 consecutive days of having your nose” shaved hair, playing for few or no fans all season, I committed and I playing with some of the best footballers of my career. “
